Abstract:
This detection device comprises: a message acquisition unit that acquires one or more transmitted messages in an in-vehicle network; a data acquisition unit that acquires a set of a plurality of types of data corresponding to the same time and included in the transmitted messages acquired by the message acquisition unit; a storage unit for storing a detection condition created in advance and based on a plurality of the sets corresponding to each of a plurality of times; a calculation unit that uses the set acquired by the data acquisition unit and the detection condition as a basis to calculate an estimation error for a type of data to be monitored in the set; and a determination unit that uses the estimation error calculated by the calculation unit and another estimation error calculated by the calculation unit in the past as a basis to determine whether a transmitted message corresponding to the type of data to be monitored is a fraudulent message.
