Abstract:
This detection device has: a substrate; and a plurality of photodiodes that are arrayed on the substrate and that each include a p-type semiconductor layer, an i-type semiconductor layer, and an n-type semiconductor layer laminated on the substrate. The photodiodes have a plurality of first regions where the p-type semiconductor layer, the i-type semiconductor layer, and the n-type semiconductor layer are laminated so as to be in direct contact, and a second region where at least the p-type semiconductor layer and the i-type semiconductor layer are laminated so as to be apart from each other. The first regions adjacent to each other are at least connected at the p-type semiconductor layer.
