Abstract:
The present invention provides a detection device that includes a front light and that can provide high detection accuracy. A detection device includes a light guide panel disposed overlapping a plurality of photodiodes, and a front light. The front light includes a first light source irradiating a first side surface of the light guide plate with first light, a second light source irradiating a second side surface of the light guide plate that is opposite to the first surface, with second light having the same wavelength as that of the first light, a third light source irradiating a third side surface of the light guide plate that is different from the first side surface and the second side surface, with third light having a wavelength different from that of the first light, and a plurality of scattering sections provided on the light guide plate and scattering light from any of the first light source, the second light source, and the third light source.
