Abstract:
This detection method for a target substance (11) involves: forming (S110) complexes (13) by binding the target substance (11) to dielectric particles (12a) each modified with a substance (12b) that has a property of specifically binding to the target substance (11); separating (S120), through dielectrophoresis in a liquid, the complexes (13) from unbound particles (14) which are dielectric particles not forming the complexes (13); and detecting (S130) the target substance (11) included in the separated complexes (13) by using an imaging element (140).
