Title:
DETECTION RANGE ADJUSTMENT DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2005/076620
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
There is provided a detection range adjustment device not requiring setting of a fixed camera at a regular position by a man and capable of automatically detecting the entire range to be detected without a blind corner even when a camera has failed. The detection range adjustment device includes a plurality of camera terminals (P). The plurality of camera terminals (P) include a camera (P) capable of varying the position of the detection range, an adjustment unit (102) for adjusting the position of the detection range by controlling the camera (P), and a communication unit (103) for transmitting/receiving detection range information indicating the detection range of the camera (P). The adjustment unit (102) adjusts the position of the detection range of the camera P of the local camera terminal (P) so that the region combining the detection ranges of the plurality of camera terminals (P) entirely covers a detection object range (130) according to the detection range of the camera (P) of the local camera terminal (P) and the detection range of the camera (P) of another camera terminal (P).
