Abstract:
The present invention highly accurately detects events generated at a plurality of places. This detection system is provided with: a plurality of cameras that each perform detection and output detection information; a network through which the detection information from the cameras is transferred; and a system control unit that notifies generation of a prescribed event on the basis of the detection information from the cameras. Each of the cameras is provided with: an imaging element that images an object and generates a frame of time-sequentially arranged image data; and a detection frame determination unit that determines the relationship between the object and a prescribed detection frame and generates the result of the determination as detection information.
