Abstract:
Disclosed is a detergent composition which contains (a) a nonionic surfactant that is represented by the general formula (1) below, (b) one or more anionic surfactants that are selected from among (b1) specific alkylbenzenesulfonic acid salts, (b2) specific polyoxyalkylene alkyl ether sulfuric acid ester salts and (b3) specific alkyl or alkenyl ether sulfuric acid ester salts, and (c) a fatty acid having 8-18 carbon atoms or a salt thereof at a mass ratio (a)/[(b) + (c)] of from 5/95 to 70/30.

(In the formula, R1 represents a hydrocarbon group having 8-22 carbon atoms; AO represents an alkyleneoxy group having 3-5 carbon atoms; m and n each represents an average mole number of added units, specifically m represents a number of 18-60 and n represents a number of 0-5; and "/" means that the C2H4O groups and the AO groups can be either randomly bonded or block bonded.)
