Abstract:
This deterioration-determining system (100) comprises a field repair unit provided in a bank-note-handling device (50), a vibration detection sensor (51), a determination unit (62), and a notification unit (63). The field repair unit has rubber components, and the vibration detection sensor (51) measures vibration data by detecting the vibration of the field repair unit. The determination unit (62) determines the degree of deterioration of the rubber components of the field repair unit on the basis of the vibration amplitude peak obtained from the vibration data and the root mean square of the vibration amplitude, and the notification unit (63) gives notification of the determined degree of deterioration.
