Abstract:
This underwater/overland determining device determines whether an object to be determined is under water or on land. The device includes: a detection member on which a specific image pattern is displayed; a camera; an image acquisition unit; and a determination unit. The camera is attached to the object to be determined, photographs the detection member under water at a first view angle or photographs the detection member in the air at a second view angle wider than the first view angle, and generates image data. The image acquisition unit acquires the image data from the camera. The determination unit determines whether the object to be determined is on land or under water on the basis of an image showing a part of the detection member, which is included in an image indicated by the acquired image data and which changes according to the view angle of the camera.
