Abstract:
The present invention makes it possible to determine the authenticity of a two-dimensional code used for guiding users to various websites, advertising, authentication, and the like. A terminal device 10 acquires a first two-dimensional code to be determined and a plurality of pieces of first additional information for determining the authenticity of the first two-dimensional code. A server device 30 that communicates with the terminal device 10 over a communication network 20 has a database DB in which a plurality of pieces of second additional information is preregistered in association with identification information corresponding to two-dimensional codes guaranteed to be authentic. The terminal device 10 determines the authenticity of the first two-dimensional code by determining whether or not the plurality of pieces of first additional information is registered in the database DB.
