Abstract:
Provided are a developing cartridge in which a gear on a side surface of the developing cartridge can rotate even when a projection such as a rib is positioned near a developing roller, and a drum cartridge in which such a developing cartridge can be installed. A developing cartridge 1A having a developing roller 3, wherein on an outer surface 2A of a housing 2 are mounted: a developing roller gear 12 connected to the developing roller 3; a coupling 11 that engages with the developing roller gear 12; an idle gear 14 that engages with the coupling 11; and an agitator gear 15 that engages with the idle gear 14, the agitator gear 15 being connected to an agitator 5. A first projecting part 20A and a second projecting part 21A that are shorter than the gap between the outer surface 2A and a gear part 15B of the agitator gear 15 are provided to the developing cartridge 1A.
