Description:
DEVELOPMENT IN A SMART SPEECH AIDING DEVICE

RELATED TECHNICAL FIELD

This invention relates to a smart speech aiding device which helps the speaker during the speech by means of the screen therein.

STATE OF THE ART

In the most general sense, the term speech aiding is the name given to the art of effective speaking. In other words, the speech aiding means that a specific subject is efficiently delivered to a certain audience in various ways.

The term speech aiding involves a variety of information transmissions, such as the sermons delivered by the imam in the mosque, speeches of the politicians, conferences held for scientific or social purposes, introduction organizations, etc.

In general, the speech aiding is performed for the crowded audience in open or close and wide areas. For this reason, the audience must be able to hear the speaker transparently in order that the presentations can be effectively followed by all of them.

Therefore, the sound devices, such as an available microphone and speaker are commonly used.

Another device is the projection device which allows a wide audience to be seen the image on a curtain in order to enable visual elements to be shared.

It is possible that the speaker may get excited, forget the speech or be distracted in front of the community during the speech. In this regard, various devices and apparatus are developed in order to help the speaker.

Apart from these mentioned devices, there are available various constructions developed to help the speaker during the presentation. For example, a construction which has a screen used for viewing the clue words on the lower end of a handle integrated into the microphone with a prompter is mentioned in the invention no. CN103780985 (A), entitled“Prompted! mikrofon”.

In another invention no. 2011/02312, entitled“Akilli kursu”, a stand structure consisting of a screen, computer, projection, cable and board is mentioned.

In another invention no. CN201294611 (Y), entitled“Grafik igerigi goruntulemeye vakif mikrofon”, a structure which consists of a microphone, MP3, MP4, hand-held device and press key, and prepares the screen contents when a speech is given is mentioned.

In another invention no. CN203057421 (U), entitled “§arki sozu ekranini igeren mikrofon destegi mikrofon destegi”, a microphone and screen structure in which a microphone support allows people to view the lyrics during singing is mentioned.

The said structures are structures that are used to enable the speaker to continue his/her presentation fluently when the speaker is stuck and/or forget.

However, the speaker must follow the screen, such as the prompter and the like when the said structures are used. When the speaker has to follow the screen in such a way, it causes that he/she will not able to communicate with the audience sufficiently, move freely enough on the stage, and achieve the desired influence on the audience.

However, some of the said structures must be transported and installed on the stage, which creates an additional time loss and labor force requirements for presenters and organizers.

OBJECT OF THE INVENTION

The object of this invention is to allow the user to give his/her speech in a fluent and calm way by seeing the text of the presentation text by means of the screen integrated into the microphone so that the audience will clearly not able to recognize it.

Another object of the invention is to allow the desired text to be loaded and seen on the screen by means of the technologies, such as USB, Wi-fi, Bluetooth, etc. Another object of the invention is to allow the user to move freely together with the microphone without depending on any screen during the presentation by means of the integrated screen structure into the microphone body.

Another object of the invention is to allow the device to be carried easily because of having sizes close to the standard microphone structures, and to eliminate the additional labor force and time requirements for the installation and transportation of the present structures.

Another object of the invention is to provide both mobile and fixed utilization by means of its structure suitable for being located on a table and stand.

Another object of the invention is to allow the device to be used in any environment due to its structure which is operable connected to a battery, charge and mains.

The smart speech aiding device of the invention comprises: a body 1 ; at least one microphone 3 located on the lower part of the body 1 and the upper part thereof; the screen 2 which is located on the inner surface of the body 1 facing to the user and displays the data selected from the transferred data by means of USB, Wi-fi, bluetooth or cable; the camera 4 which is located on the inner and/or outer surface of the body 1 and enables to record the speaker and/or audience; a voice recording module for recording voice only; a speaker 5 located on the inner and/or outer surfaces of the body 1 ; the device control buttons 6 which allow the device to be controlled manually; a charging input slot 7 which charges the device; a data input slot 8 which loads the data into the device; a media playing module which display the videos; the wireless communication modules, such as Wi-fi, bluetooth and GSM, which allows the device remote control, him/her to be prepared and shared his/her texts on an online platform, the voice to be transferred to the other external speakers, the presentation to be watched live by means of the online systems, the speaker to view and share the incoming instant notifications during the speech; a voice output slot 9 which allows the voice to be transferred to the external speakers via a cable; and a time tracking module and hand-held wireless control remote device which allow the speaker to be able to set his/her speech time and report his/her speech times afterwards.

The screen 2 in the structure of the device has the screen setting buttons 2.1 which allow the speaker to set the screen shot and type size as desired. The screen 2 of the speech aiding device has a touch-sensitive structure.

The microphone 3 in the structure of the device has the microphone setting buttons 3.1 which allow the speaker to set the volume as desired.

The speaker 5 in the structure of the device has the speaker setting buttons 5.1 which allow the speaker to set the volume as desired.

All elements and modules in the speech aiding device are located in the body 1 as a whole. The body 1 has the dimensions and weights such that a standard speaker can hold and carry easily. The speech aiding device may be used by fixing on a stand, table, etc. such that the user can carry it in his/her hand while moving. Also, due to this mentioned dimension and weight of the body 1 of the speech aiding device it does not create an additional space requirement to move and locate it in the presentation area. Also, it can be carried easily.

It is not recognized that the user is reading and/or following the text on the screen 2 when viewed from the outside due to the fact that the screen 2 is located on the body 1 as seen from the Figure 1.

The smart speech aiding device has a structure which is operable by connecting to the mains as well as with a battery and/or by charging.

The speech aiding device has a charging input slot 7 which provides the integration of the charging device and/or a battery slot in which the battery is located. Thus, this device can be used without electricity and as a mobile device.

The data, such as a desired text, illustration, presentation, video, etc. can be loaded into the speech aiding device via an USB device, Wi-fi, bluetooth or cable. The user can select whatever he/she wants from the data loaded into the device.

The speech aiding device is automatically transmitted the loaded text onto the screen 2 synchronously with the speech of the speaker by means of the voice recognition feature thereof. During this transmission, the text can be followed, the sections read by the user are marked and the text slides by means of the voice recognition feature, so that the user can easily find the point where he/she is stuck.

The screen 2 provides the transmission of the text in desired type size according to the user’s preference.

The speech aiding device has a device control buttons 6 which are present as much the numbers of the operation features and controls the device manually.

The user may control the remote device control, prepare and share his/her text on an online platform, transmit his/her speech to the other external speaker in the area, follow live the presentation via the online systems and view and share, if desired, the incoming instant notification during the speech by means of the wireless communication modules of the device, such as Wi-fi, bluetooth, GSM.

The user may set the speech times and report these speech times afterwards by means of the time tracking module in the device. Thus, the proper presentation time can be provided and/or the average presentation time can be measured by practicing with the device.

The speaker may play the desired video on the screen by means of the media playing module which displays the video available in the device, and share it with the audience on the external screen in the area by means of the wireless communication modules.

The device has a camera 4 which is located in the inner and/or outer surface of the body 1 and records the speaker and/or audience. There may be a single front camera or a single rear camera while there may be two cameras 4, as one front camera 4 located on the inner surface of the body 1 and one rear camera 4 on the outer surface of the body 1 .

The speaker can record his/her presentation visually via the camera 4 while he/she may record it only vocally via the voice recording module.
