Abstract:
The present invention provides, for example, a device 30 for aiding image capture of underwater organisms, which is capable of capturing a suitable image of a fish for estimating underwater organism size. The device 30 for aiding image capture of underwater organisms is provided with: a detection unit 31 that detects an underwater organism in an image acquired by a camera; a determination unit 32 that determines the positional relationship between the camera and the underwater organism detected by the detection unit 31; and an output unit 33 that outputs auxiliary information for moving the camera such that a side surface of the underwater organism and an image-capture surface of the camera directly face each other on the basis of the positional relationship.
