Abstract:
A device for automatically balancing a voltage difference of a battery pack comprises a plurality of sub-balancing devices (201) respectively connected to a plurality of battery strings (101) of a battery pack (100) in a one-to-one correspondence. Each sub-balancing device comprises: a first current-free probe (202a) and a second current-free probe (202b), the first current-free probe connecting to a positive terminal of a corresponding battery string and the second current-free probe connecting to a negative terminal of the corresponding battery string for collecting the voltage between the positive terminal and the negative terminal of the battery string; a first discharge probe (203a) and a second discharge probe (203b), the first discharge probe connecting to the positive terminal of the corresponding battery string and the second discharge probe connecting to the negative terminal of the corresponding battery string; a load (207) for discharging the battery string; a target voltage circuit (204) for generating a target voltage; a voltage comparison circuit (205) for comparing the voltage between the positive terminal and the negative terminal of the battery string with the target voltage; and a control circuit (206) for receiving the comparison results of the voltage comparison circuit. When the voltage between the positive terminaland the negative terminal of the battery string is greater than the target voltage, the load is made to connect to the corresponding battery string to discharge the battery string. When the voltage between the positive terminal and the negative terminal of the battery string is not greater than the target voltage, the connection between the load and the battery string is disconnected, and the battery string is not discharged.
