Abstract:
The present invention provides a device for controlling an automatic transmission, the device controlling an automatic transmission provided with a variator provided on a motive power transmission path between a drive source and drive wheels of a vehicle, and a frictional fastening element provided between the variator and the drive wheels so as to be capable of blocking the transmission of motive power through the motive power transmission path. While a vehicle is stopped, the frictional fastening element is released to increase the gear-change ratio of the variator to a prescribed target gear-change ratio, and when the frictional fastening element is released while the vehicle is stopped, learning is executed pertaining to hydraulic-pressure control of the frictional fastening element. At the time of learning at which learning is executed while the vehicle is stopped, the target gear-change ratio is reduced to be lower than the ratio achieved while the vehicle is stopped during times other than the time of learning.
