Abstract:
This device for controlling an automatic transmission is provided with: a lock-up clutch control means that performs feedback control causing the actual slip quantity of a lock-up clutch (8) to match a target slip quantity; and a zero slip control means that, on the basis of a zero slip request at a time of no transmission shifting, causes the lock-up clutch (8) to be in a zero slip state immediately before the occurrence of a slip. The zero slip control means immobilizes the target slip quantity at a slip quantity threshold and holds the target slip quantity for a predetermined time period (t2-t3) when transitioning to the zero slip state, and after the predetermined time period elapses, gradually reduces the target slip quantity to the zero slip quantity at a predetermined slope (θ2) together with the passage of time from the slip quantity threshold.
