Abstract:
The device for culturing a photosynthetic organism of the present invention is provided with a culture tank for housing a liquid culture medium containing the photosynthetic organism and a liquid dispersion unit formed inside the culture tank. The liquid dispersion unit is provided with a rotation shaft which is disposed along the vertical direction and at least one liquid flow member which is attached to the rotation shaft. The liquid flow member is provided with a discharge part which is positioned above the surface of the liquid culture medium, a liquid suction part which is position below the surface of the liquid culture medium, and a flow channel which extends between the discharge part and the liquid suction part and through which the liquid culture medium flows. At least a part of the culture tank is provided with a translucent part through which light from the outside penetrates into the culture tank.
