The present invention relates to a device (1) for evaporating a liquid medium in a filling product filling system, comprising an inclined evaporator surface (40), a media inlet (5) for applying the liquid medium that is to be evaporated onto the evaporator surface (40), and grooves (44) in the evaporator surface (40) for directing the liquid medium, the grooves (44) being formed along the evaporator surface (40) in a non-linear manner.
