Abstract:
The present invention relates to a device for gripping a hot blank, which device is used to move a heated steel plate from a furnace into a press for hot working, and comprises: a driving cylinder; a pair of side plates coupled to both sides of a lower part of said driving cylinder and spaced a predetermined distance apart; a first and a second plate joined between said pair of side plates, spaced a predetermined distance apart so as to face each other, forming a reception part inside said pair of side plates and forming an opening part on the edge of a side of the lower part; a link unit received in said reception part, and wherein one end thereof is coupled to a cylinder rod provided in said driving cylinder; a gripping part wherein one end thereof is hinge coupled to the other end of said link unit, and the other end thereof protrudes outward through said opening part and rotates forward and backward while gripping the steel plate; and a supporting part coupled to a lower part of said first plate, and pressurizing the top side of said steel plate so as to support same.
