Title:
DEVICE FOR GUIDING UP-DOWN SWING OPERATION OF SCREW, INSTALLED FOR STABLE SAILING ON BOW SIDE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2017/115714
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention suppresses pitching, in which the bow and the stern of a hull alternately tip up and down, caused by waves during sailing of a vessel. Screws (40a, 40b), which are provided on the bow side, which are capable of rotating along vertical angles, and which swing up and down, are rotationally guided in a propulsion direction opposite that of a force by which the bow moves up and down due to waves so that the force is suppressed. Pitching is forcibly suppressed, and the sailing of the vessel is made more stable.
