Abstract:
A device for individually packaging medication, configured so that the difference in temperature between a lateral sealing unit and a longitudinal sealing unit is reduced to reduce the manufacturing cost of a packaging sheet, so that the structure of the sealing units is simple, and so that the size of individual package bags is adjusted according to the amount of supply of the medication.
A device for individually packaging medication comprises: a conveyance member (27) for conveying a long packaging sheet (S) with the packaging sheet (S) folded in two along the longitudinal direction thereof and with the fold line disposed on the lower side; and a sealing member (36) for sealing the packaging sheet (S). The sealing member (36) is configured by integrating a longitudinal sealing unit (41) and a lateral sealing unit (42), the longitudinal sealing unit (41) being adapted to seal the edge of the packaging sheet (S), the edge being located on the side opposite the fold line, the lateral sealing unit (42) being adapted to seal the packaging sheet (S) at predetermined intervals in the longitudinal direction. The device for individually packaging medication also comprises: a support member (51) for supporting the sealing member (36) so that the sealing member (36) can come into contact with and separate from the packaging sheet (S); and a control unit (83) which, during when the packaging sheet (S) is sealed by the lateral sealing unit (42) and the packaging sheet (S) is sealed by the longitudinal sealing unit (41), causes the sealing member (36) to rotate idle while separating the longitudinal sealing unit (41) from the packaging sheet (S) and then causes the longitudinal sealing unit (41) to again come into contact with the packaging sheet (S).
