Abstract:
A lifting device has a sheave device (7) having rotatable sheaves (11a, 11b) and
installed in a hoistway (1), and also has a hoist (14) installed in the hoistway
(1) at a position below the sheave device (7) and having a lifting rope (16) capable
of being paid out and drawn in. The lifting rope (16) paid out from the hoist (14)
into the hoistway (1)is guided to the lower side of the sheave device (7) via the
sheaves (11a, 11b). An elevator component (18) to be installed in the hoistway
(1) is connected to the paid out end of the lifting rope (16). The elevator component
(18) is lifted along the hoistway (1) by drawing the lifting rope (16) into the
hoist (14).
