Abstract:
A device for making tubular element of rectangular cross-section with transverse ribs for a heat exchanger, comprising a chuck (1) on which is mounted a cutting tool (5) whose working body has a front and a rear surface (6, 7) forming a cutting edge (8), and a reciprocally moving table (2) with a tubular blank (3) secured on it and contacting with the cutting tool (5), the rotation axis (4) of the chuck (1) being inclined in relation to the surface of the table (2) at an angle of more than 75� to the direction of its working movement and the cutting tool (5) being rigidly secured on the chuck (1) so that its cutting edge (8) is oriented in the direction of rotation of the chuck (1), and the front and rear surfaces (6, 7) of the working body of the cutting tool (5) have a conical form.
