Abstract:
A device for making wells in the ground comprises a striking mechanism (1), a cylindrical casing (15) provided in its upper part with a flange (16) and with an inclined surface (17) located below the flange (16). A cap (18) with a through opening (27) is mounted on the cylindrical casing (15) with the possibility of rotation. The lower part of the cap (18) is located above the lower end face of the cylindrical casing (15). The cap (18) interacts with a bushing (19) mounted on the cylindrical casing (15) and split by planes into wedge-shaped supports (20) interacting with the inclined surface (17) of said casing (15) and into segments (21) spring-loaded in relation to the cylindrical casing (15) and contacting with the wedge-shaped supports (20). The wedge-shaped supports (20) and the segments (21) of the split bushing (19) are fixed in the cap (18) with the possibility of rotation in radial planes.
