Abstract:
To obtain a device for measuring a clearance of an elevator counterweight, whereby the clearance of the counterweight can be measured without removing a protective cover, this device for measuring the clearance of an elevator counterweight comprises a level gauge, and a retaining part that is provided to the protective cover and retains the level gauge so that the level gauge can move in a vertical direction relative to the protective cover, the level gauge having a receiving part that is pressed from above by the counterweight, a mark part provided to the receiving part and indicating the position of a lower end part of the counterweight, and a guide part for guiding the receiving part and the mark part along the protective cover.
