Abstract:
Device for measuring the haemoglobin level, comprising a support on which multiple bands coloured various shades of red are visible, wherein said shades of red constitute a gradation, wherein said device also comprises indications such that each of said shades of red corresponds to a haemoglobin level, wherein said support is also designed so as to be readily placed in the immediate proximity of the palpebral conjunctiva of an individual in such a way that the colour of said palpebral conjunctiva can be compared, using the naked eye, with said shades of red so as to determine which of said shades corresponds best to the colour of said conjunctiva; wherein the device is characterized in that it comprises means for indicating, firstly, whether the difference between the spectrum of the ambient light and that of daylight is sufficient to compromise a reliable measurement of the haemoglobin level and, secondly, whether the intensity of the ambient light is sufficient for an accurate measurement of the haemoglobin level.
