Abstract:
The invention relates to a device and to a method for receiving ordered goods and/or for providing goods for the purpose of collection, especially in the absence of the user. The inventive device comprises a lockable container for the goods, as well as an input device and a control with a memory element. The inventive method makes use of said reception/provision device. The aim of the invention is to provide a device and a method for receiving ordered goods and/or for providing goods for collection that is easy to handle and requires little constructive measures on the private or business domicile of the respective user. To this end, a control unit (18) comprising at least the input device (6), the control (7) and the memory element (8) for an expected delivery/collection is positioned with the container (2) in front of the private or business domicile. Once the goods have been ordered, the user inputs the order information (9) obtained for activating the reception/provision device (1) into the memory element (8) of the reception/provision device (1) and the transportable reception/provision device (1) for the expected delivery or collection of goods (11) is positioned in front of the private or business domicile.
