Abstract:

Disclosed is a method for route guidance. The present method includes: a step for calculating a driving route from the current position of a moving body to destination information; a step for determining whether an intersection or a branching road is present within a prescribed distance from the current position of the moving body on the calculated driving route; a step for checking link information corresponding to a lane on which the moving body is located and determining the traveling direction to the intersection or branching road if the intersection or branching road is present; a step for determining an entrance route for entering the intersection or branching road along the determined traveling direction; and a step for transmitting the determined entrance route to the moving body, wherein the step for determining the entrance route includes: a step for determining whether a route to be driven by the moving body along the traveling direction of the intersection or the branching road should be changed; a step for determining a direction changing lane the moving body should drive on according to the traveling direction and the traffic flow on a lane adjacent to the direction changing lane if the lane to be travelled by the moving body should be changed; and a step for determining an entrance point of the moving body according to the determined traffic flow.
