Abstract:
In the present invention, the linear distance connecting the centers of a tool T and a workpiece W is caused to fluctuate so as to reach l+al(1-cos(Mωt)), or is caused to fluctate according to al sin(Mωt) in the vertical direction, or is caused to fluctuate according to a combination of these, relative to time t. ω represents the angular velocity of the workpiece, M represents the number of surfaces of a polygon, and a represents an adjustment parameter. Causing said distance to fluctuate in this manner makes it possible to adjust recesses and protrusions in machining surfaces.
