Abstract:
According to one embodiment of the present invention, a control device is provided in order to control a drive motor for causing an opening/closing member provided to a vehicle to open or close, the control device being provided with a control unit for outputting a control signal for switching the connection of a switching unit, and a detection unit for outputting to the control unit a signal indicating the direction of rotation of the drive motor. The control unit determines whether sticking is occurring in the switching unit on the basis of the signal from the detection unit, and when it is determined that sticking is occurring, the control unit stops the drive motor and outputs a control signal for switching the connection of the switching unit so as to maintain the stopped state.
