Abstract:
[Problem] To effectively use all of a quantity of waste matter containing waste plastic as fuel for cement firing without adversely affecting clinker quality. [Solution] A device (1) for converting waste matter containing waste plastic into fuel that is provided with: a crushing device (10) that crushes waste matter (ASR and the like) containing waste plastic; a separating device (sieve device) (20) that separates the waste matter (C) crushed by the crushing device into crushed matter (an intermediate particle group (MP)) that is within a predetermined grain size range and that is unlikely to fully combust when exposed to air and other crushed matter (a large particle group (LP) and a small particle group (SP)); a rolling device (heated compression roller) (30) that rolls the crushed matter that has been separated by the separating device and that is unlikely to fully combust when exposed to air into thin, film-like flakes; and a supply device that supplies the crushed matter that has been rolled into thin flakes by the rolling device to a cement firing device.
