Abstract:
Provided is a method for detecting end positions of a mechanism part of a turning device, the method involving initiating, when a torque value of the mechanical part due to a load applied by at least one of a driving force of an actuator and a steering torque applied to the mechanism part exceeds a first threshold, detection of a limit position of the steering angle in the direction of this torque value, recording, as the limit position, a peak value of the steering angle in the mechanical part and continuing the detection of the limit position while the torque value of the mechanical part is between the first threshold and a second threshold, and setting the recorded limit position at the time when the torque value exceeds the second threshold to an end position indicated by this torque value.
