Abstract:
The present invention provides a device for measuring voltages of respective battery cells, thereby diagnosing whether an error has occurred in the battery cells. The present invention includes a voltage measurement circuit, a data processing circuit, and a diagnostic circuit. The voltage measurement circuit measures voltage of a battery cell. The data processing circuit calculates a target statistical value indicating a state of a battery cell on the basis of voltage measured by the voltage measurement circuit, and calculates a cumulative statistical value by accumulating target statistical values of the battery cell during an analysis period. The diagnostic circuit determines whether an error has occurred in a battery cell, through an accumulation determination operation of comparing a cumulative statistical value with a cumulative reference value, and counts the number of accumulated errors when it is determined, during the accumulation determination operation, that an error has occurred in the battery cell.
