Abstract:
The present invention suppresses deterioration in batch-connectivity of optical fibers to a holder or optical fiber transmission characteristics while suppressing a reduction of bending anisotropy or optical fiber post-branching workability. This device is provided with: a tape die 20 that coats a plurality of single-core optical fibers 2 with a photocurable resin; a division die 30 that forms divided parts in the photocurable resin between the coated single-core optical fibers 2; a first light irradiation device 40 that semi-cures the photocurable resin by irradiating the photocurable resin with light; and a second light irradiation device 50 that completely cures the photocurable resin by irradiating the semi-cured photocurable resin with light. The ratio of the integrated amount X1 of irradiation by the first light irradiation device 40 and the integrated amount X2 of irradiation by the second light irradiation device 50 is X1:X2=(0.3 to 1.2):10.
