Abstract:
Disclosed are a device and method for measuring distance using a laser. The device for measuring distance comprises: a laser module which emits a laser beam to a target point spaced apart from the distance measuring device and detects the laser beam reflected from the target point; an acceleration sensor which detects the acceleration of the distance measuring device and outputs an acceleration signal; a gyro sensor which detects the angular speed of the distance measuring device and outputs an angular speed signal; and a microprocessor which calculates the distance from the target point by using acceleration information related to the acceleration signal, acceleration information related to the angular speed signal, and information related to the laser beam.
