Title:
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR MEASURING MUSCLE OXYGEN CONSUMPTION, AND COMPUTER PROGRAM
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2022/044718
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
This measurement device comprises a light source, a sensor which includes a plurality of photoelectric transducers, and a processing circuit. The processing circuit executes detection operation several times, which includes causing the light source to emit an optical pulse, and causing the sensor to detect at least part of internal scattered components which are components scattered inside an object part of a user in a reflection optical pulse generated from the object part due to the emission of the optical pulse and to output a detection signal which indicates the spatial distribution of intensity in the at least part of internal scattered components, thereby obtaining a plurality of detection signals which include the aforementioned detection signal. The processing circuit generates and outputs, based on the plurality of detection signals, distribution data which indicates the spatial distribution of muscle oxygen consumption in the object part.
