Abstract:
The present invention relates to a device and a method for measuring the severity and cause of sleep apnea to provide a treatment plan. A sleep apnea severity measuring device according to one embodiment of the present invention may comprise: a respiration management part, which injects air into a subject and collects respiration parameters of the subject on the basis of the injected air; an EIT data processing part, which comprises multiple electrodes to be attached to at least one portion among the chest and the neck of the subject, and measures one of a current and a voltage from the at least one portion through the attached multiple electrodes to generate image data regarding the inside of the subject; and a control part, which controls the respiration management part, controls the injected air, quantifies the generated image data and the collected respiration parameters according to the controlled air, and measures the degree of sleep apnea of the subjects.
