Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a method and a device for predicting a nucleic acid amount on the basis of a pathological image and proposing the optimal gene test. This method may comprise the steps of: receiving a pathological image of a slide; extracting, from the pathological image, information about the amount of nucleic acid that can be extracted from a predetermined paraffin section; determining the quality grade of the nucleic acid on the basis of the pathological image; labeling at least one of a plurality of tests as a success or a failure on the basis of the information about the extractable nucleic acid amount and/or the quality grade; and selecting the optimal test from among the plurality of tests on the basis of the labeling information about each of the plurality of tests.
