Abstract:
The present invention relates to a device and a method for predicting stock prices. A device for predicting stock prices, according to one aspect of the present invention, comprises: a data input unit for receiving a financial statement value for at least one item included in the financial statement of a company for a preset period, and a base stock price, which is the stock price of the company at any one base time-point within the period; a weight generation unit for generating weights by comparing, with financial statement values in any one quarter prior to a target quarter, financial statement values in any one target quarter from among the first, second, third, and fourth quarters of a target year including the base time-point; a variable value management unit for storing preset variable values for the weights; and a predicted stock price calculation unit for calculating a predicted stock price on the basis of the base stock price, the financial statement values, the weights, and the variable values.
