Abstract:
The device according to the present invention for producing a compound derived from a lignocellulose-based biomass comprises: a first saccharification unit which contains a pretreated lignocellulose-based biomass and enzymes; a second saccharification unit which contains a first saccharified liquid formed in the first saccharification unit and a first saccharification residue containing lignin to which β-glucosidase (BGL) is adsorbed; and a mechanism for maintaining the solid component concentration in the second saccharification unit higher than the solid component concentration in the first saccharification unit.
