Abstract:
The present invention relates to a device and a method for providing an augmented reality service. The device for providing an augmented reality service comprises: a camera; a display unit; a POI object detection unit that detects POI objects from image information of the camera; a coordinate conversion unit that sequentially converts the coordinates of the detected POI objects into coordinates in an orthogonal projection space; a rendering unit that renders AR objects in the orthogonal projection space; and a control unit that causes the coordinate conversion unit to convert the coordinates of the POI objects into coordinates in the orthogonal projection space according to a screen of the display unit, causes the rendering unit to render the AR objects at positions of each of the converted coordinates of the POI objects, and causes the display unit to display the rendered AR objects on an image acquired by the camera.
