The present application relates to the technical field of sagger repairing. Disclosed are a device and method for repairing a sagger by sucking a specific slurry. The repair device comprises a slurry storage tank (10), a delivering mechanism (20) and an impregnation tank (30), wherein the slurry storage tank (10) is used for storing raw slurry; the delivering mechanism (20) extends into the slurry storage tank (10) and is configured to suck a specific slurry from the raw slurry, the specific slurry having a solid content of 13%-25% wt, D50 = 0.37-0.62 μm and D50 = 0.41-0.76; and the impregnation tank (30) is in communication with the delivering mechanism (20) and is configured to receive the specific slurry sucked by the delivering mechanism (20) and to completely immerse the saggar (60) with the specific slurry to repair the sagger (60).
