Abstract:
The present invention is a device 1 for separating and recovering a highly pure oil from a waste oil, comprising: a waste oil tank 2 that stores the waste oil; an oil and fat separation unit 3 for selectively separating and removing waste solid content, waste oil impurities, and waste moisture that are included in the waste oil in the waste oil tank 2; a separated oil tank 4 that stores a separated oil resulting from the separation by the oil and fat separation unit 3; a centrifugation unit 5 that removes impurities from the separated oil in the separated oil tank 4 and separates and recovers a highly pure oil; and a pump 6 that is positioned between the separated oil tank 4 and the centrifugation unit 5, and is for suctioning the separated oil from the oil and fat separation unit 3 and transferring the same to the separated oil tank 4, and is further for supplying the separated oil in the separated oil tank 4 to an inlet of the centrifugation unit 5 at a prescribed pressure. Due to this configuration, the present invention can separate and recover a highly pure oil with a particle diameter of 2-5 μm from a waste oil including a large quantity of impurities and water, simply and at low cost, and with a dramatically shorter processing time compared to preexisting technology.
