Abstract:
A device and a method for treating the paper jamming of a printer. In the method, when the paper jamming occurs between ink jet recording heads (7 to 10) and a belt platen (12), the belt platen (12) is lowered to a preset lower limit position, and a suction fan (18) is rotated to suck and hold a recording medium (11) on a conveyor belt (17).
