Abstract:
A coagulating/condensing device comprising a liquid feed unit (1) for supplying an untreated liquid containing fine particles and a solid-liquid separation unit (2), the liquid feed unit (1) having a distribution room (3) for distributing the untreated liquid and a dispersion liquid room (4); specifically a coagulating/condensing device and method for separating by condensing a contaminated liquid into a high-concentration sludge and a clear liquid by using an electrolyte in the contaminated liquid instead of five particles as a coagulant, wherein a spiral mixing pipe (5) for allowing the liquid from the dispersion liquid room to flow down therethrough and an amount increasing pipe (6) for supplying the untreated liquid from the distribution room (3) are merged at a downstream side merging portion (7), a spiral injection pipe (9) with an opening (8) facing downstream is provided inside the spiral mixing pipe, and two liquids at different potentials separately supplied to the mixing pipe (5) and the injection pipe (9) are brought into contact with each other at the opening (8) to form a floc-containing liquid, which is in turn mixed with the untreated liquid at the merging portion (7) downstream the amount increasing pipe to form mass-floc.
