Abstract:
This device for monitoring a state of a railroad car is provided with: a monitoring sensor which detects state information on a bogie device; and a wireless transmitter which wirelessly transmits, at a transmission interval, a signal including the state information detected by the monitoring sensor, wherein the wireless transmitter wirelessly transmits the signal by making the transmission interval be a prescribed initial interval, when a monitored value obtained by using the state information is determined to be equal to or less than a threshold value, and wirelessly transmits the signal by making the transmission interval be a narrow interval that is smaller than the initial interval, when the monitored value is determined to have exceeded the threshold value.
