Abstract:
A device for observing a hidden mark in an eyeglass lens which attains observation of the hidden mark in the eyeglass lens by a simple configuration. The device (1) for observing the hidden mark in the eyeglass lens comprises a light source which generates visible light, a collimate lens which converts the visible light to parallel beams, a diaphragm disposed at a position which is in the optical path between the light source and the collimate lens and is also the focal position of the collimate lens, and an eyepiece disposed opposite the collimate lens. The optical path between the collimate lens and the eyepiece is set to be an insertion space of a lens to be tested having the hidden mark, the focal point of the eyepiece being in the insertion space.
