Abstract:
This invention is provided with: an opening/closing body for establishing the opening part of an opening member in an open state or a closed state, the mass of the opening/closing body acting in the closing direction; a plurality of drive units for moving the opening/closing body in the opening direction and the closing direction; an opening/closing control unit for controlling a plurality of drive units; and a sensor for sensing the operation of a plurality of drive units. The opening/closing control unit is an opening/closing body operation device. The opening/closing body operation device monitors the driving state of the plurality of drive units via signals from the sensor. When it is determined that there is an individual abnormality, in which an individual drive unit is in an abnormal state, while the opening/closing body is being moved by the drive units or the opening/closing body is stopped in an open state, the opening/closing body operation device performs a restriction control on the drive unit with the individual abnormality, the restriction control restricting the movement of the opening/closing body in the closing direction. The opening/closing body operation device makes a comparison of the driving state between the drive unit subjected to restriction control and another drive unit, and when it is determined that the drive units are normal with respect to each other, the opening/closing body operation device deems the opening/closing body to be in a normal state and disengages the restriction control. It is therefore possible, using a simple structure, to prevent the opening/closing body from suddenly falling.
