Abstract:
The inventive device comprises a pipeline (1) for supplying a pulverised coal fuel, a channel (2) for supplying secondary air, a central tube (3) which is mounted in the pipeline (1) elbow by means of a flange (4) in such a way that it is longitudinally movable. The central tube (3) is provided with a plasmatron (5) which is placed therein on the side of a furnace chamber and is axially movable inside said tube (3) by means of a rod (6). A confuser (8) is fixed to the end section of the tube (3) by means of brackets (7) at an angle ranging from 0 to 18° with respect to the longitudinal axis of the tube (3). The cross sectional area of the minimum diameter of the confuser (8) coincides with the cross sectional area of the plasmatron nozzle (9) when it is maximally pulled out, the confuser conicity being equal to 1:5 1:3. The passage aria of an annular channel in the pipeline (1) cut off by the confuser (8) is of 0.4-0.5 the pipeline (1) passage area.
