Abstract:
The present invention relates to a device for processing a steel plate for a transformer core and a method for processing the same, wherein and an upper forming cutter is rotated with regard to a lower forming cutter, the position of which is fixed, concurrently with moving a steel plate by pushing the same with a roll feeder such that the steel plate is bent in an arc shape four times; the upper forming cutter is then moved downward with regard to the lower forming cutter, thereby cutting the steel plate; through this process, it is possible to manufacture a transformer core, four corners of which are rounded in arc shapes; and, accordingly, a transformer core member can be manufactured quickly and easily without having to additionally conduct subsequent annealing for arc formation. A device for processing a steel plate for a transformer core according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention comprises: a body having an introduction port provided in one side thereof, having a discharge port provided in the other side thereof, and having a steel plate transfer passage formed therein so as to connect the introduction port and the discharge port; a roll feeder installed on the steel plate transfer passage of the body so as to forcibly transfer a steel plate; a lower forming cutter fixedly installed below the discharge port of the body; a forming cutting block installed immediately behind the lower forming cutter to be able to move upward/downward; an upper forming cutter installed on the forming cutting block to be able to rotate; a rotating motor installed on one side of the forming cutting block so as to rotate the upper forming cutter; a cutting cylinder installed on the upper side of the body so as to move the forming cutting block upward/downward such that the steel plate is cut by the upper and lower forming cutters; and a controller provided on the body so as to control operations of the roll feeder, the rotating motor, and the cutting cylinder. In addition, a method for processing a steel plate for a transformer core according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention comprises: a first step of transferring a steel plate by operating a roll feeder having an upper roll and a lower roll such that a primary arc-shaped bending point is positioned between upper and lower forming cutters arranged above and below the steel plate so as to deviate from each other; a second step of rotating the upper forming cutter after the roll feeder stops; a third step of operating the roll feeder such that the steel plate is bent downward so as to have a predetermined radius of curvature by the upper and lower forming cutters; a fourth step of rotating the upper forming cutter to the original position after the roll feeder (20) stops; a fifth step of operating the roll feeder such that a secondary arc-shaped bending point is positioned between the upper and lower forming cutters and then repeating the second to fourth steps; a sixth step of operating the roll feeder such that a tertiary arc-shaped bending point is positioned between the upper and lower forming cutters and then repeating the second to fourth steps; a seventh step of operating the roll feeder such that a quaternary arc-shaped bending point is positioned between the upper and lower forming cutters and then repeating the second to fourth steps; and an eighth step of operating the roll feeder such that the steel plate is additionally discharged by a predetermined length, stopping the roll feeder, moving the upper forming cutter downward with regard to the lower forming cutter such that the steel plate is cut, and moving the upper forming cutter to the original position.
